All underfloor heating systems require good quality insulation to enable them to operate as the designers intended, we can supply appropriate materials for all our system types.

Thermal Floor Insulating Primer

0ne coat will cover around 12m2 we recommend that you use 2 coats of primer with our underfloor tile kits for the best results. We are giving away 1 bottle of primer free with each kit.

Marmox is a construction strength reinforced board and at only 10mm thickness will provide sufficient insulative properties to mount below a tiled floor on an un-insulated or poorly insulated base. Thicker boards can be used in place of traditional sand and cement screed and are desirable for increased heating efficiency.

Marmox Board size from 6mm, 10mm, 20,mm, 30mm, 40mm, 50mm,  and all boards are 1250mm x 600mm.

Blueboard insulation 6mm or 10mm is suitable for Undertile heating mats going down on to a concrate surface or for use with under wood and laminate floor heating mats, board size 1250mm x 600mm.

XPS is used for under wood and laminate floor heating. 1 board covers 0.72m2 and is 5mm thick can be doubled up to make it 10mm. A 10m2 pack contains 14 boards, a 20m2 pack contains 28 boards.

Therma-coat floor primer insulation is used if you cant add height to your floors.
